Beirut, Lebanon // On November 14, 2015, during my first trip to Lebanon (the birthplace and first home of my mother), I prepared a Peruvian lunch for 42 people at a Makan alongside the fantastic team behind the project. It was an incredible experience.

A huge part of of the Motivation and Manifesto of Quincho is to bring people together and bridge the gap between worlds through a shared meal. This meal, with these people, was affirmation, realization, and inspiration of and for that idea.

I'm currently working on an essay about my experience in Beirut and look forward to sharing it with you! In the meantime, here are some photos of an American girl cooking Peruvian brunch in a Lebanese restaurant...
